Forgetting a life of moderation

Living life without borders. Coloring outside the lines. Dreaming big. I came across this quote today that made me realize I was swimming through smoke, often just treading right in place.

What would it be like to be so focused on what you were going to do in your life that days, time, the people and events around you didn't matter? We talk about "needing to do this for me"...where does that get us? More self-satisfaction that our lives mean something? So we pat ourselves on the back and go to bed at night fulfilled. Huh. I'm not there...so what does that say about me?

Fearless. Full of vim and vigor. A spitfire. Gumption. Let's be all of it rolled into one.
Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced.” -Swami Vivekananda, Hindu spiritual leader, 1800s
